You will join the newly established Medical Research Council £3.8M project
called Newcastle Molecular Pathology Node (NMPN). As part of your duties
you will devise new computational methods to collate, integrate, analyze
and visualize medical (clinical) and biological data.

The aim is to integrate, analyse and interpret a wide range of clinical
pathology relevant data sources such as microscopy images, analytical
platforms data (genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, lipidomics, glycomics,
etc), public and private data repositories, text mining of literature as
well as clinical records, etc. The initial focus of the post will be on
Cancer Computational Pathology.

You should have a PhD in Medical Informatics, Bioinformatics or related
field (or nearing award) and have demonstrable experience with medical or
biological data analysis, integration or visualisation.

This position is available immediately fixed term for 36 months with a
stage gated performance evaluation at month 12.
